Clinical Supervision
Regardless of the context in which supervision takes place, it should provide a safe space to reflect on and explore your practice in a way which supports you where you are. My core modality is person centred, but I integrate elements from other approaches in my client work.
I offer a free, no obligation 30-minute online session so that we can talk about your needs and see how we might work together.
I offer 1 to 1 supervision in the following ways:
Counsellors
I work with you to create a safe, and dynamic space, a place of sharing, reflecting and learning. Our work will provide you with the space to challenge and be challenged, supporting you in gaining new psychological perspectives in your client work. Your ethical framework will be integral to the supervision process, as will your personal and professional development. I offer a warm approach to deep diving into the various processes at play in your client work, helping you to view your work from different perspectives.
In addition, I offer support to therapists going through the accreditation process.
My areas of expertise are:
- Working with children and young people from 11 years
- ADHD, Autism and AuDHD
- Trauma
Trainee Counsellors
As you start working with clients it can be an exciting and daunting time. Supervision will play a vital role in supporting the way you shape your practice and embed your learning into your client work. I will support you towards becoming a reflective and ethical practitioner, supporting you through and exploring with you the challenges that you face.
Your reports and course paperwork will be included in the cost of your fortnightly supervision.
The fee for clinical supervision is £60 per hour or £90 per 90-minute session. Concessions are available for trainee counsellors.
Supervision in schools
With schools being time poor and high stress environments, it can feel like there is very little capacity to cater for staff wellbeing at all levels. Supervision is a confidential space to process, reflect and problem solve without judgement.
Having regular supervision can help staff with mental health and psychological load, support safeguarding, exposure to trauma and avoid burnout. This can lead to better outcomes for students, lead to greater staff retention and increase levels of resilience.
This supervision is for:
- Staff in pastoral roles, including safeguarding leads/teams.
- Early career teachers
- Class teachers, particularly those working with pupils with SEMH needs
- SENCOs
- Senior leadership teams
- Educators in specialist provision
